~Eastside and Sunflower are still great. BAD! is shit and Taki Taki seems like it's getting caught between years.

~So thank u, next is still #1. I'm kinda pissed it blocked SICKO MODE, but I'm very happy it appears to be blocking Without Me. Hopefully High Hopes or Sunflower can get up high soon (I'd like Eastside to get the #1 but that seems pretty impossible now).

~Natural really crashed hard this week. I suppose it won't be repeating next year on the 2019 Year-End list.

~Yes I like ZEZE now.

1. Mumford & Sons - Delta (DEBUT) {1st Week At #1}

~All of our debuts and re-entries from last week fell out aside from the terrible one because apparently people like Trippie Redd. The 2019 chart year is not off to a good start.

~If I told you I was expecting anything different from Mumford & Sons's new album, I'd be lying. While this isn't necessarily a bad thing, its not that good either. I do quite like a lot of elements of this album. I think the lead singer, while nothing too special, has a nice voice and sounds pretty good throughout the entire album. I don't think he has much vocal personality or charisma though, which can hurt the album at points. I do like the production, as I believe they are using real instruments, something you don't hear much these days. The lyrics are pretty generic, but sweet overall. However, there is one big flaw with this album: it's extremely forgettable. Even Guiding Light, the lead single, which I've probably heard 7 or 8 times I can barely remember. I'm looking at the tracklist right now and I honestly have no memory of listening to songs called The Wild or October Skies or basically any of the songs on the album. So for background music while I was doing homework, this was fine. But I will not revisiting it anytime soon.

~If Michael Bublé had released this album at any other time of the year, it would've flopped. But since this is essentially a Christmas album (I know it's not labeled as one, but listening to the songs it might as well be), this was the best time of the year for him to release it. So props for that I guess. Also, having the stylized name of your album be "❤️" is stupid but I digress. I haven't even talked about the music on the album itself at all yet really, so let's do that: it's nothing special. It sounds very dated, and as mentioned before its basically a Christmas album. Basically if you want a sense of what this album sounds like, listen to that classic Christmas music station that turned Venus into (though to be fair to Bublé, this album is much better than that station). Would not recommend this one, but if you're looking for decent Christmas background music but you're sick of actual Christmas songs I suppose this works.

~Not going to mince words, the Reimagined version of The Greatest Showman is a step up from the original. The production here feels much tighter, and there's so legitimate star power here that leads to two songs I kinda like. However, then you've got people who obviously were gonna be on an album like this such as P!nk and Kelly Clarkson who just don't seem to care all that much. But there are quite a few baffling decisions on this album that I'd like to run through quickly. First of all, why is there a seven year-old on this album? She is a terrible singer and has no right being on a #3 album. Next, who the hell decided to have two of the worst British singers cover the worst song off of the original soundtrack. Rewrite The Stars is easily the worst song here, mostly due to James Arthur's terrible performance, but Anne-Marie isn't much better. Also, they remixed This Is Me. It's basically a mix of the original and the Kesha cover which could have been good if it weren't for two things. First, Missy Elliot is on this song. And she isn't rapping here. She just speaks. Very slowly. For a minute. Next, they included the Kesha cover on the album, making this remix's existence pointless. The last thing that confused me on this album is Ty Dolla $ign being here. I mean, his song with MAX is easily the best song on the album, but Ty seems a little out of place on a kids movie soundtrack.

~Lastly, though it may have gotten the lowest debut we have probably the most interesting new album: Mariah Carey's comeback album, Caution. Also, it's kinda weird to call this album interesting since every song on here is a boring, bad mix of R&B and trap. Though I do find Mariah to be a tad bit overrated, she's made good songs in the past. If you told me DJ Mustard produced this whole album, I'd believe you (I wrote this before checking, but according to Wikipedia Mustard was a producer on one of the songs. Ironically, it happens to be my favorite song on the album). I also don't think Mariah's voice is used well here. She has an amazing range, I won't deny that. But she is forced to spend most of the album in her breathy, weaker upper range. If someone has the range Mariah has, I'd like it if it was used more instead of her going flat on the super high notes (which to be fair, she only does very rarely, and when she does the notes are VERY high). Honestly, this sounds like something I could hear from Ella Mai, not one of the most talented pop stars ever. And it seems like the public is not buying into this new Mariah (and they much prefer Ella Mai), as this album failed to get the #1 or chart any songs this week. Can't say I'm sad about that.

11.  BTS (#9) [-2] {2 Weeks At #1}

4. Ariana Grande (#4) [=] {3 Weeks At #1}
3. Michale Bublé (RE-ENTRY)
2. Queen (#1) [=] {2 Weeks At #1}
1. Mumford & Sons (RE-ENTRY) {2nd Week At #1}

~Mariah's older stuff is good, her newer stuff is bad. Therefore, she goes in blue.

~Honestly I'm giving best week to Billie Eilish. She had a big gain for her current single, a song return, a song debut, and lots of songs in bubbling under. Additionally, her album hit a new peak on the Billboard 200, and next week come out and play is coming to dominate the charts ;). Hope she becomes a big star soon. Worst week I guess goes to Mariah Carey for being Mariah Carey, one of the biggest artists ever, and not being able to chart a single song or get a #1 album. Hell, she didn't even get the #1 album.

Bubbling Under Hot 100:
Out of the Top 5:
OUT. Lil Peep - Life Is Beautiful (#4)
OUT. Trippie Redd - Can't Love (#3)
Graduated To The Hot 100:
98. Jason Aldean - Girl Like You

2. Billie Eilish - idontwannabeyouanymore (#18) [+16]
1. Blake Shelton - Turnin' Me On (#1) [=] {2nd Week At #1}

~This will probably be a normal thing here, but no promises.

~Lots of country, so let's go through these quickly. Take It From Me is sweet, This Is It is boring and Turnin' Me On is gross and terrible.

~You is a pretty boring and clunky R&B song. I'd rather not see this cross over to the Hot 100.

~The highest of Billie Eilish's three songs in bubbling under is thankfully not the song about multiple homicides (I'm not joking, look up the lyrics the bellyache they are weird as fuck). But this song is pretty decent. It'll probably grow on me like her other songs have tended to do.
