~Not much happened this week, but we did get a couple big drops. The Way I Am was not destined to last, as it had already flopped elsewhere. I did just grow back into it, so I'm a little sad that it fell. I still say that this was a terrible choice compared to the other songs on Voicenotes but whatever.
~Girls Like You also took a very large drop. I seem to be the only person who still really likes this song. Most people liked it, but then once it started blocking SICKO MODE it suddenly became the worst thing ever. I still enjoy it though.
~Both of last week's debuts took decent jumps this week. Despite breathin being the better and more successful song, Big Mistake took the bigger jump and ended up higher. Hits 1 has not been huge on Ariana's music this year, so I could see breathin underperforming here. However, Hits 1 has loved their random unknown artists so Big Mistake is basically a lock to do well.
~Why the hell is I Wanna Know still top 30?
~Eastside finally took the jump it deserved last week. I hope that Hits 1's love of Halsey will cause this to do well.
~Speaking of Halsey, Without Me is sitting just outside our top 10. I'm just enjoying it not being up there while I can, since it's destined to go to #1.
~Hey Look Ma, I Made It is not a single. It may have a music video, but it has not been sent to radio. So by that logic, it shouldn't be in super heavy rotation on a hit music station. And it shouldn't be in the top 10 when Drake cracked the top 30 like once this year. That is all.
