Year-End Post #1: Stats & More

Hi everyone. This is my first year-end post. 2018 was not a very good year for music. We did have quite a few great hits, but we also had quite a few terrible ones. We'll talk about those in later posts. Also, Hits 1 threw away all logic this year, with songs that had no presence elsewhere like Say Amen and I Wanna Know dominating the countdown. There's a lot we're going to talk about, so let's get into it. Here is the color code I'll be using for this post:

  • Purple - Best Song (5/5)
  • Green - Great (5/5)
  • Blue - Good (4/5)
  • Pink - Decent (3/5)
  • Yellow - Mediocre (2/5)
  • Turquoise - Bad (1/5)
  • Red - Awful (0/5)
  • Orange - Worst Song (0/5)
#1 Songs
Between the three charts I blog about, we've seen quite a few different songs hit #1. Let's start with Hits 1:
