  • The Vamps - Just My Type

  • Anne-Marie - 2002
  • Panic! At The Disco - Hey Look Ma, I Made It
  • Kim Petras - Heart To Break
  • Jason Derulo & David Guetta/Nicki Minaj/Willy William - Goodbye
~I seem to be the only one who like Body. I just find it to be very catchy, the production has a nice groove to it, and I like the vocals here. This song has done everywhere but America, so I wouldn't be shocked to see it drop out of hit-bound.

~For the second week in a row, Hits 1 has picked up on my "#1 recommendation". I love everything about Eastside. I think that Khalid's vocals are just amazing, and he has just the right emotion for that the lyrics require. And speaking of the lyrics, they are very well written. Additionally, I really like the production on this track. Lastly, I think that these are the best vocals I've ever heard from Halsey. Some may think she doesn't sound good here, but I beg to differ. I think this will debut soon, so I'll talk more about it then.

My Top 5 Hit-Bound Picks
TIE: 1. benny blanco/Halsey/Khalid - Eastside
TIE: 1. Tiësto & Dzeko/Preme/Post Malone - Jackie Chan
3. Anne-Marie - 2002
4. Jason Derulo & David Guetta/Nicki Minaj/Willy William - Goodbye
5. The Vamps - Just My Type

She Used To Meet Me On The Blurbside
~So... not much happened this week. But the thing that easily makes me the happiest is Love Lies hitting a new peak at #3. While listening to the countdown, I was so hopeful that this would take the #1 spot, but alas it was not meant to be. Maybe next week.

~The song that held on to the #1 spot is Youngblood by 5 Seconds of Summer. I'm growing back into this song, so I'm fine with it there for now. At least it isn't Fall Out Boy or Urie.

~In terms of our biggest movers this week, Sit Next To Me fell very close to the bottom of the countdown. Though I may have it in green again, I would be fine with it leaving us soon. Happier, on the other hand, took a very nice jump. I see this one becoming a very big hit.

~It would be nice if Delicate would stop falling so fast.

~Sorry for the lack of blurbs. Nothing that interesting happened, so instead I'll review the

YouTube 15
So before we start, I've got a little story for all of you about why I'm reviewing the YouTube 15 this week. A fellow blogger requested I listen to this show, so he could review it. I didn't plan on reviewing it myself, but there were two songs that were just so awful that I decided I needed the chance to talk about them. So here's the list:
  • Juice WRLD - Lucid Dreams
  • Jonas Blue/Jack & Jack - Rise
  • Hozier/Mavis Staples - Nina Cried Power
  • DJ Khaled/Justin Bieber/Quavo/Chance The Rapper - No Brainer
  • R3HAB/Sophia Carson - Rumors
  • Maroon 5/Cardi B - Girls Like You
  • Sigala/Ella Eyre/Meghan Trainor/French Montana - Just Got Paid
  • Post Malone - Better Now
  • Alan Walker/AuRa/Tomine Harket - Darkside
  • Drake - In My Feelings
  • Lawrence - Make A Move
  • Khalid/Normani - Love Lies
  • Nick Jonas/Robin Schultz - Right Now
  • Cardi B/Bad Bunny/J Balvin - I Like It (Radio Edit)
  • Noah Cyrus/Gallant - Mad At You
~I see nothing good about Nina Cried Power. Take Me To Church was awful, and this is a step up but far from good. He just does not know how to use his voice. I don't see this becoming a hit.

~Rumors is very catchy. I like the vocals here, and I love the beat drop. I hope Hits 1 puts this into their regular rotation.

~Just Got Paid is far from the best Ive heard from any artist involved. The vocals aren't good, the production is annoying, the lyrics are useless, and the rap verse just doesn't fit in.

~Words cannot express how much I hate Make A Move. When I heard Jenna Marbles introduce the song from a lesser known singer-songwriter brother and sister duo, I went in with an open mind. That all fell apart with those God awful vocals. This woman just cannot sing. Period. The production is very clunky and none of the parts fit together. I genuinely see nothing good in this song.

~Right Now is decent. Not Nick Jonas's best, but it's fine. This will probably grow on me if I ever hear it again.

~Noah Cyrus brings us Make Me (Cry) 2.0, but so much worse. These types of ballads just do not work well for Noah Cyrus. Frankly, most songs don't work well for her. She does not have a good voice. I don't think I've ever wanted a song to end upon first listen as much as I wanted this one to. It's the perfect mix of awful vocals and boring, lifeless production and lyrics. I hate this song so much.
