~Only one new song one hit-bound this week. Lady Gaga brings us another song from the soundtrack to A Star Is Born, this time with Bradley Cooper. Right off the bat, this is much better than I'll Never Love Again. I think that both Cooper and Gaga sound good together and by themselves. I would like to see this on the countdown fairly soon.

~Eastside really should be on the countdown by now...

A Blurb Is Born

~I am not very pleased with some of our drops. Especially Beautiful, which took the biggest drop of the week. This song is big right now, but apparently Hits 1 has something against Bazzi so I guess I shouldn't be too surprised. Speaking of big songs taking unnessecay drops, Better Now fell ten spots. The song has been fading on me recently, but I wouldn't mind it hanging around a little longer. One Kiss appears like it'll miss the year-end list as it falls quite a bit again this week. Almost Love seems to be flopping, sadly. Thunderclouds fell a tiny bit but it'll probably recover. It better. Lastly, The Last of The Real Ones fell out of the top 10. This too has faded on me, so I kinda hopes it falls before I get really sick of it.

~I was happy to see a couple of old songs, in The Middle and Say Amen, fall down this week. I would appreciate if Whatever It Takes would follow in the same path sooner rather than later.

~Hey Look Ma, I Made It is rightfully flopping. It'll probably hit #1 once it is pushed to radio though.

~There were quite a few jumps this week, so let's go through them rapid-fire:

-I don't expect the gains for Just My Type or Heart To Break to be lasting things, but it's nice for now.

-Why is Drew Barrymore becoming a thing?

-The remix of Lost In Japan and This Feeling both had very nice second week gains. They'll both probably have good countdown runs.

-Electricity had the biggest jump, which I'm pretty happy about. Maybe this could be Dua Lipa's first #1 song here?

~I would like it if Happy Now stopped gaining. We don't need more mediocre Zedd music getting big. Stay was good, Get Low sucked, and The Middle has been here way too long. Hits 1 really has become slightly obsessed with Zedd as of late.

~Our entire bottom six remained stagnant, as did our top three. Most of the bottom six will likely be leaving us soon, but where things are more interesting is in the top three. The top two has been the same since September 8th, which is getting a little ridiculous at this point. SiriusXM Stans 1 just can't let these songs fall. Also, I'm kinda pissed that Back To You keeps getting blocked from the #1 spot.

~Perhaps Happier will be the song that dethrones our top two, as it gains up to four. However, this song is huge everywhere else, so I doubt that Hits 1 will give it success.
