~We lost three good songs this week. Ohio was sweet, but a little boring. I'm not heartbroken about it's exit. 1950 leaving is whatever, it'll come back. Quarter Past Midnight was a really great song, and I'm sad to see it go. I'm happy it spent two weeks at #1, but I wish it could've lasted longer afterwards.
~So....AJR is back. And I don't hate the song anymore. It's just the lyrics that really bother me now. Miracle also came back. I like the verses in the song, but the build up and beat drop are awful. I'm used to the song being here at this point though.
~Our only debut comes from Death Cab for Cutie with Gold Rush. I don't like the vocals in this song. That was the biggest problem. I actually can't understand a word that he's saying, so I don't know how the lyrics are. The production is mediocre at best. I hope it leaves us sooner rather than later.

~I found Hunger to be annoying and Four Out Of Five boring so nothing of value was lost.
~1950 is back...
~Humility is one of the better songs that we see on the Alt-8 during these four weeks. The production has a nice groove to it, and the vocals are solid. I once again can't really understand what's being said so I don't have a judgement on the lyrics. I hope this one returns and gets some more success.

~We lost one of the few great songs we've seen on the Alt-8 recently to get more mediocrity.
~Violet City is just so boring. I really have no other thoughts on it. I like the vocals enough to keep in blue, but man this one's a snoozer.
~Lemon To A Knife Fight is really weird. The production is really fun, but the vocals are annoying. The lyrics are weird as hell. Why did we have to lose Humility for this?

~Simplify is okay I guess. I'm not a huge fan of this guy's voice. The production is catchy at least.
~Here's the big one: Twenty One Pilots is back after their great year in 2016. Jumpsuit is a good comeback single, don't get me wrong, but I see myself getting tired of this one fast. It will likely hit #1 here next week, and it's almost definitely debuting on the Weekend Countdown as well. The song itself is pretty repetitive so it won't be hard to get sick of. It's still good at the moment though, and with the rest of the stuff we're getting I'll take anything that I can at least enjoy a bit.
