Some Albums I’m Looking Forward To This Year

Why am I making this post?

Meh I'm bored and I don't wanna listen to an hour of Gunna.

  • Dean Lewis - A Place We Knew (3/22/19)
I really have no idea what to expect from this. But Be Alright is a really good song, and that other song he dropped was pretty enjoyable as well (I think it was called 7 Minutes?). I think theres a couple more songs that have been released so far, but I haven't heard them yet. Its only like 12 songs, so I think this will probably turn out pretty well.

  • LSD - Labrinth, Sia & Diplo Present... LSD (4/12/19)
It's LSD. Its gonna be great.

  • P!nk - Hurts 2B Human (April)
I didn't love the lead off single for this one, Walk Me Home. But I didn't really like Beautiful Trauma's lead single and that album turned out pretty well, so I've got hope. I do fully expect this album to get delayed by a couple months, since it still doesn't have a release date and only has one single.

  • AJR - Neotheater (4/26/19)
This album is gonna suck so hard. Both singles so far are awful. Theres a song on the album called Don't Throw Out My Legos for Christ's sake. But AJR always finds ways to be interestingly awful, so this will be...something. Reviewing it will be fun though.

  • Cardi B - TBA (TBA)
Invasion of Privacy was solid, Please Me is great, Cardi is a good rapper, this album will probable be pretty good.

  • Carly Rae Jepsen - TBA (TBA)
I like all three of the singles she's dropped so far so sure, why not?

  • Coldplay - TBA (TBA)
Coldplay has always been pretty hit or miss with me. Theres plenty of their songs that I really like, but theres also plenty of songs that I find to be boring slogs. Let's hope the songs on this album fall into the former category.

  • Mark Ronson - Late Night Feelings (TBA)
Mark Ronson is a super talented dude, and he's also like a sponge with his production. His two biggest hits, Uptown Funk and Nothing Breaks Like A Heart, are super different production-wise. Hopefully this new album is good.

  • Normani - TBA (TBA)
I've liked what I've heard from her so far, but at the same time she's just collaborated with artists I like so far and also 6LACK. I haven't actually heard a solo song from her yet, so I'm interested in how this album is gonna turn out.

  • Louis Tomlinson - TBA (Probably not this year)
I really don't expect this album to come out this year. He just suffered an awful loss in his family, so music obviously isn't his top priority right now. But with that said, I really like all his songs so I'm really looking forward to when this album does drop.

  • Mike Posner - A Real Good Kid's Physical Release
I just want this to chart on the Billboard 200.
